WELCOME TO STANDON VILLAGE HALL
'Your Gateway to Community Elegance!'

Step into a world of tradition and charm, where history and modernity come together in perfect harmony. For nearly a century, Standon Village Hall has stood as a testament to the heart of our community, enriching the lives of generations past and present.

A Legacy of Love: Gifted by the benevolent souls, Mr. & Mrs. le Blanc-Smith, in loving memory of their son, our Village Hall carries a profound sense of purpose. With Deeds dating back to 1919, it stands tall as a public charitable trust, devoted to serving as a Village Hall, Reading Room, and a Place of Entertainment and Instruction. It's a cherished space for the inhabitants of Standon and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Uniting Community, Inspiring Generations: Over the years, our cherished hall has played host to countless village user groups, bringing people together with a shared vision. Whether it's a social gathering, a cultural event, or an educational workshop, our versatile facility caters to all with its reasonable pricing and central location.

Powered by Dedication: Behind every successful venture lies a dedicated team with passion and commitment. At Standon Village Hall, we are blessed to have a team that selflessly devotes their time to create a haven for joy and celebration. If you share our enthusiasm and wish to be part of this remarkable journey, consider joining our Committee of Management. Reach out to Denis Olliver at Tel: 01279 842625 to explore the possibilities.

Empowering Safety, Enriching Lives: As a responsible community centre, we care for your well-being. In May 2015, we took a significant step by installing a public access defibrillator on our external wall. Your safety is our priority.

The Daytime Delight: Calling all early birds! We are delighted to offer morning bookings, bringing you a refreshing start to your day in the embrace of our charming surroundings. For more information and to book your mornings of bliss, get in touch with Beverly or Denis Olliver at 01279 842625.
